He attended the Pichelin Pre-School, Bellevue Chopin Primary School, Newtown Primary School, Dominica Grammar School and the Dominica State College. He graduated from the Dominica Grammar School in 2011 where he was crowned Student of the Year and was the student who received the most awards. He further advanced to the Dominica State College where he is pursuing a degree in Accounting and Economics which are his two passion subjects.
Maxime started his ministry of singing at the age of 12. He composes his own songs and has sang in crusades, revival services, concerts, weddings and other local and gospel events. He was also an actor in the group called Angelic Essence. His spiritual light caused the Pastor (his father) to notice him and in the year 2011 he was given the ministry of being the Youth President of his home church. He also plays the role of treasurer, secretary and band leader of various other groups.
Zechariah's desired profession is to be a certified public accountant and a professor in the fields of Accounting and Economics, thus he desires to achieve a Master's Degree in these two subject areas.
Zechariah Maxime is a proud ambassador of Jesus Christ and he strives to represent Jesus wherever that he goes. Though it may be hard as a young person to wear Jesus' garments, he has been labelled by many as an exemplary Christian.
His spiritual desires are to be a number one Gospel Artist [world wide], Youth Pastor and Bible Study Teacher.
