We have taken the term enemies and transformed it into the word 'haterz'. Why do people hate on you? There may be a number of reasons why. Unfortunately, you may have given people a reason to hate on you, while you may be a subject that stirs hot discussion.
Ever heard of these terms? (Jealousy, Envy). These are the two main reasons why people hate. One, they are jealous of you and are just anticipating your downfall. Two, they want what you have.
What is even more displeasing, is that your friends may be your haterz. Do you know what you call friends like that? Pretenders!! They appear as if they like you by treating you nice, calling you on the phone, sending you messages, helping you, but behind your back they have activated their hater application. You need to beware of such friends. Some people have no reason to hate on you. They just do it for fun!
But, reference to Mary Mary's song "Never Wave My Flag", let me encourage you to Never Wave Your Flag for your haterz. If you are giving them a reason to hate on you, then do some work on yourself. However, if you are not giving them a reason to hate on you, then just keep on being yourself.
According to Matthew 5: 44, love your enemies. Do good to them. Offer them a helping hand. Encourage them. Pray for them. Jesus will reward you.
Not everyone in this world will like you for you. But who needs haterz, and who needs fake friends, when Jesus will never be a hater. He loves you and will always do. He's the best friend one can ever have.
